Hello. I am prepared to invest around 600-800 USD into buying Notebook hardware. Notebook motherboards seem a pit picky in regards to upgrades, so I might not want to spend a whole lot. I have with me an Intel PM55 chipset mainboard, so I figured I would get DDR3-1333 4g RAM memory, and with it, the so populated Intel i5 2.26Ghz processor. i7 seems a little unreasonable for me. I really want a nice graphics card with 1gb dedication, compatible with the motherboard of course. I already have my 150gb Hard drive. Thanks to everyone who responds.

My dad's friend sold me his old notebook computer. It came with a few things, including the HDD and a motherboard. You have one hell of machine there-4.2GHz CPU!

thanks, I'm buying some upgrades in a week.

I believe that the i5 uses a newer socket so it might not work in your laptop.
