I second that, I Would highly recommend staying away from maxtor..

I also have a scsi Maxtor Drive that has been running for 10 years, BUT I have seem more than a fair share of them fail, More than any other brand i have come across.

Seagate, and Western Digital are my favorite drives, the 7200.10 /7200.11 series are great

I've had 2 maxtors. Both have failed. Also during the past 6 months or so 3 of my friends have said that their hdd failed.. Yeah.. all were maxtor drives.

They just aren't good anymore, and like I said seagate bought them so I'm guessing there won't be any new maxtor drives. (thank god)

I thought Maxtor were just rebranded Seagates now? If not, then yes, another brand would be safer.

from the one that Worshipme recommended to
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...2E16813138102R
with
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16814102536
for graphics
with this config, i ended up getting more USB/PCI slots for less money. plus with the other video card, ill be able to drive dual monitors when i work up the money.
The 780G can do dual monitors, plus the HD 3200 integrated chip is probably as if not more powerful than that card.
