Default First Build

Hey guys,
I'm going to be building my first computer with the help of my neighbor. Tell me what you think of these parts. They are subject to change because I probably won't be ordering them until later this month.

MOBO

GPU

PSU

CPU

RAM

HD

DVD drive

Case, still undecided

Monitor

Thanks for your input!

Acer makes excellent monitors for such a value. My 19" Acer WS has amazing colors.. even better colors then the 42" Samsung Screen i got in the living room.

I'm trying to keep this within my budget, so I don't think I'm going to get a monitor bigger than 20". I'll be satisfied with a 20" anyway. I plan to go SLI in a few years when the 8800gt comes down in price.

Well I will upgrade eventually, but I'm a college sophomore with zero income.
My neighbor who is building my PC with me has an Acer 24" that is unbelievable, and I've heard good things about Acer monitors. Should I really change to Viewsonic?
