Default Firmware help

i went to wipe my hard drive and i ended up screwing up my bios now it thinks i dont have a hard drive or cd drive and i have tried alot of thing to make it work but nothing has so far i have the model numbers of everything i need and i have tried putting drivers on floppies but it doesnt seem to work. i would really appreciate any suggestions.

What steps exactly did you do to "wipe" your hard drive?
