firewalled linksys system

not sure if im in the right forum or not but, ive got an actiontec modem from qwest for the dsl uses, ive bought a Cable/DSL router with 4 port switch, when i open up azureus, it always say its firewalled and slows down all my download. what can i do to make it unfirewalled, i went to the network site "192.168.1.1", but im no sure what to do

I wouldn't suggest disabling the router's firewall. It's there to protect the router and it's settings. More than likely, you have Windows firewall running. Check your internet connection for it.

It sounds like a NAT problem, mine does that when i first install it, once the NAT is configured, it works fine. Theres a guide here for setting it up, have a read through it and if you have any problems then post them
