Default firewall

does anyone know a good firewall that doesnt take up much resources and is free? ive been using zonealarm for a while now but im kinda sick of it and it always seemed to load slowly at startup, im sure there must be a better one out there

hmmm even if i webroots firewall is good i still dont wana buy one lol, ive used their spysweeper which was very good the only prob i had with it was that it wouldnt let me receive things on msn

Get zonealarm, I like, if your really parnoid get peer gudiran and run it with zonealarm along with SP2 firewall and heh hackers have fun

Use a spare computer

I find Zonealarm the best, software wise..

Ditto. I tried Kerio firewall once, and that drastically slowed the computer down. It used a lot of RAM (don't remember exactly how much, but at least 32MB). I wouldn't use it, just stick with what everyone knows: ZoneAlarm.
