Default Firefox in ubuntu question

I have a logitech mx1000 and it has many buttons on it (I'm too lazy to count right now...). What I'd like to do is make it so my mouse wheel rocking left and right kicks my focus on a tab left or right to the next tab over. I'd also like my side mouse buttons to act as forward and backward like it used to in windows. I'm using firefox 2.0, thanks in advance.

Default Re: Firefox in ubuntu question

This could help:

Or this:

Yeah, see if those do you any good. Ubuntu probably doesn't have the right drivers installed by default to make full use of the mx1000, but you can get it with a bit of "tweaking."
