Default Firefox shuts down

My firefox has been shutting down saying that firefox has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried the firefox website for troubleshooting but there was nothing there. I can get the error details the next time it happens but does anyone know how to keep it from happening?

Have you tried an uninstall/reinstall?

Ok I have tried everything I can think of and it is still doing it. Ive even tried an older version of Firefox and it still comes up about thirty seconds in telling me that it has encountered an error and needs to close.

I figured it out it was a faulty extension. I found the answer in the Firefox forums on their site. I didnt know that firefox had their own forums or else I would have looked there first. Thanks for your help anyway everyone, I feel stupid for not looking on firefox first.
