FireFox help!!!!!

Sometime randomly when I open my firefox browser ALL my book marks have disappered!!!!!
It has happned about 6 times now.
Can someone please tell me and help me so it dosnt happen again.
Also if you can tell me how to get my bookmarks back that would be great!

google has some good links which has helped me in the past. just try and find the backup folder.
