"firefox can't launch adobe acrobat"

that is with firefox says when I try to load a .pdf document. It worked until I installed acrobat 5.0, but I still have 8.1.1. I uninstalled the 5.0 and it still doesn't work.

and anyone know how to make a pdf database for 5.0 work for 8.1.1?

Try uninstalling 8.1.1 then reinstalling it.
