FINAL New build.

New Build. This will be my final post, as stated above. As in the older one, I want to know if something has become out dated or if something better is out for a little more. I am still kind of iffy on the case... The TUNIQ Tower thing has to fit in it. I believe it's the last link I ahve on here.

I will be ordering the case by its self first. I feel like I have to do that or I'll just spend my money on stupid things and not get a computer. But if I buy the case then I'm going to have a big hunky expensive thing.. and that will force me to buy the rest

I know the Mobo is not xfire supported.. feel free to find one if it's better. At this point I don't care how much things cost. maybe 50$ more if it's better.. on anything.

I read some posts on here a while back about someone getting one and they had to cut into some plastic to make it fit or something. I would rather not have to deal with that. It looks like the case I have would work fine though...

Nice build. The Cooler Master RC-690 is an excellent choice. It offers great cooling and it's easy to work in.

Really, the only thing I would change is the video card. for only $10 more, you can get an overclocked BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GT 512MB that will outperform that HD 3870.

I usually don't like to answer these "rate my build" threads because you can ask ten different people and get ten different build suggestions.

Good thing I looked at it. It's DVI but it comes with two adapters.. so that's good. I'm going to look at the cross fire mobos now.. I kind of want one.. although it's not needed...

Yea, I can also see going with different memory and power supply, but it's all good.

I see that it's $28 shipping for the case. I added my Mobo and CPU and it's still $28.. So I'll just wait and save the 30$ x however many times I was going to order

What you want to be looking for is a 790FX board with SB700. AMD themselves have said that it will greatly improve the Phenom's overclocking. Foxconn recently released a 790FX/SB700 board I think.

So they both support crossfire? Nice! Mine is 40$ cheaper and it has an extra pci slot it's not a fast one, but it's still one.. and I don't know about all of the other stuff. I'm sure it has something that is a little bit better.


So what owuld be a good Vid. card to xfire?

Hd 4870!!

But if you don't want to wait until lauch then the HD 3870 is the best choice.
