files and folders

Hi all,

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 630m. It has standard XP OS. I have noticed that when I change something in a folder such as deleting a file or renaming it this change does not become visible until i revisit the folder. I seem to recall clicking an option in regards to an advanced file management thing. Does anyone know where this option might be or whether it is odd that this newish computer has this behavior.

You mean the folder isnt auto refreshing?

Lol, yeah thats probably what he means. I don't really see how its possible though because when you delete the file, how can it still be in the folder, since you took it out when you put in the recycle bin. Try opening a folder, going to tools, folder options.
