Default file sharing

I have a d-link wbr 1310 and i don't know how to share a pc's hard drive or files is it possible, if so how

I'm not sure about Vista but in XP, you can go to Control Panel > Network Connections. On the left, there should be a option to "set up a home or small office network". Run that Wizard and it should guide you to how to set it up. I don't think there's anything that has to do with your router. As long as there's a switch that comes with your router.

right click ur HD in my computer and go to sharing and mess with the options. then on the opposing comp. u can just go to my connections and the HD will be there. as long as the other comp is on
