Converting a drive from FAT32 to NTFS is a non destructive process. It will not erase any of your programs or files.

I still wouldnt risk it TBH . i mean it would be risky to do it without backing stuff up

back all the stuff up on your normal harddrive then convert it

Go buy a pack of DVD-R's or RW's. You can get a 50 pack for like $20.
