Its probably the one my dad has, even though it reads at 1.0GHZ.
I wouldn't mind if the laptop was actually quiet, but its not, its a Patriot, and it whines and whirrs very loudly (louder than my desktop) and yet, isn't that powerful, and it never tones down either.
My grandparents on the other hand have one thats really good, and could be considerered a desktop replacement (at least 3 years ago when they got one, with the 9700 card it has in it for gaming), and that fan stops completly sometimes, and when it starts up, its only very very quiet.
