omg fan trouble

so my heatsink fan is good at midnight. i go to bed at 9:40am it makes this HORRIBLE sound. like there is a rock in it. well i let it run a llittle while and it sounds normal now...but i dont think it is fixed.

it is a masscool

socket A

has blue LEDs

boguth it from newegg...i didnt do anything to it.

nothing at all.

like i mean i didnt do anything bad. i have 3 cats though...could they have done something?

i have nvr seen them neer my comp before

unless your cat can take off the side panel, i think we can rule them out.
mybe a loose wire has hung into the blades and caused the noise? make sure there are no wires near it.

there are no wires near it. and i keep my side panel off all the time.

and my fan just got all loud but then it queited down to li=ke 25% of normal noise

well if it has made a noise that you did not like, you might as well replace it.
they are as cheap as chips and easy to fit so go for it.
it will be easier than if you leave it and melt your cpu.

well se it isnt my comp.

i am 12 and it is my mom and dads.

so....i cant just sgo ordering parts.

and changing hardware willy nilly

belive me if i owened by own comp. i would have a thermaltake volcano 11 or 12.

you dont still sleep with your mom do you?
or is your moms comp in your room?
anyway, tell your mom that if she dont get a new fan, she might need to get a new computer.

no i dont sleep with my mom the comp is in the dining room

my bedroom is separate from my moms and my brothers

and i will not tell her that. cuz i wanted to get an ultimate heatink befoee

and she wouldnt let me.

so if the comp breaks i will rub it in her nose like when u rub...well i will rub it in bad

and we would just get a new $80 cpu nothing much
