i had that worm before this is the steps you need to do, do these as quickly as possible.

then when you finish downloading it disconnect yourself from the internet, either disable your internet connection or unplug your cord from your PC.

For WoW, just copy your saved games, and then look for the CD.

Uninstall, format, reinstall, and also scan your data.

WoW keeps your users and information in the account itself...you can uninstall it then install it and login with your account and have all of your characters exactly where you left off.
