The thing about extra accounts means that you can have say 5 different users with 5 totally different data on there account. One person might only have simple word doc's, where another user might have millions of MP3 or video's. So in the size factor of your hard drive running out of space faster that might be a problem. But if the other accounts are not running while your on your account i dont think that should slow down your speed at all. But thats why people get Disk Size Limits setup when creating users.

I see. I'm just interested because I may want two user accounts on my laptop, one for development and the other for the basics (fast boot, less services/startups).
