Long time no see all
Here is my problem. I have a Western Digital external MyBook 500g hdd. Ran great for about a year (i never turned it off), and now all of a sudden it keeps restarting. It will boot up normally scanning for all the files and boom it restarts again. I've tried a new USB Cable, 8 different USB ports on two different machines (one vista 64bit other 32bit XP Pro).
WD can't warranty it, but I still have strong beliefs its a strong hard drive that wouldn't betray its master like a MAC would.
Again it just External HDD 500g WD drive. Just keeps restarting (oh ya in vista it will just sit there and not restart. If i start digging to get my movies it will restart), and there is no clicking.
I want some feed back before i rip the SOB open and put the HDD in my machine.
