Default Which External Hard Drive?

Hello, recently my laptop crashed thanks to Microsoft's wonderful updates. This was a good reminder that I should get an external hard drive to back up my laptop and desktop before I go off to college in a few days. My question is: Can someone give me an idea for good external hard drive for under 100 bucks(the cheaper the better). I don't need something with a ton of space. All I need is room to store papers, music, and pictures. Any suggestions as to which one would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.
David.

Here's a nice Western Digital 80GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive for $81.99 from Newegg.

If I did that, what would I need to hook it up to the computer?

Thats pretty good for an external hard drive, I would just buy that. It only has 2mb cache so it's going to be a little slow, but you wanted cheap, not fast.

The enclosures include all necessary connections. Such as this AMS 3.5" USB 2.0 Enclosure.
