there both great boards just whats more important to you

but at what cost? the price of ddr3 is through the roof, and correct me if im wrong, but isnt the 7xx series supposed to be a competetor to the X38 chipset?

tripple sli is the biggest wast lol
but sli is pretty kool
and the fact that ddr3 ram is like 250
and ddr2 is like 40 bucks for 4G is crazy

It's a fact that the X38 is much more stable than the 780i. Intel's chipsets are always more stable than nVidia's. The only reason to get 780i is for SLI.
