What does -- AMD Athlon 64, 1050 MHz (5 x 210) -- mean? 1050? Is that the FSB? Because it's a 2.2Ghz CPU.

210 is your front side bus, I think and the 5x is your multiplier.

thats odd. If you multiply it out..it becomes 1050 check the bios and tell us what it says. I think everest is wrong.

Tell you what the bios says about what? The FSB or the CPU speed?

Bios says CPU speed is 2310 (I am OC'd 5%)

Is it possible that Everest is giving false readings because I have "cool and quiet" activated? And under low load applications, the CPU is dialed down. (I think thats how "cool and quiet" works anyway.

No...Cool & Quiet is to automatically control the CPU fan, not the CPU.

Default Um...

www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_9485_9487^10272,00.html

Download the .pdf document. Use the save as to get it.
Cool and quiet does run the processor speed.
