ethernet driver win 98

Ethernet driver? don't you mean Network card driver? (or nic or whatever)

Find the brand and model of that network card (or chip if it's onboard) and post it here, then i'll go see if I can find the drivers.

Put the 98 cd in the drive. Go to the hardware manager and uninstall the nic. Reboot
When it pops up finding the divce type in as the driver location> (your cd drive letter):win98.
