Unhappy error from a temp file

i have been seeing problems with ME machines they create a temp file looking similiar to this ~3846982694.tmp just random numbers and i have to boot into safe mode to delete it and when i restart it recreates the file. It makes an error pop up and if you click ok or cancel the desktop icons and start bar dissappear from the desktop. It has happen on multiple computers but they are all ME. Why this happens is what I am trying to find out.

If you know anything please email me at jherbst2004@yahoo.com

Thanks to all.

ME has an automatic backup feature. You can turn this off somewhere in control panel or administrative tools. It will save you about a gig of disk space aswell

Asus A7N8X Deluxe - Rev 2.0 - Bios Ver. 1007
AMD Athlon XP-M 2200+ - @ 11x188 = 2Ghz (1.75Vcore)
ATi Radeon 9700 Pro (Almost as good as my old 5950U!)
Corsair 512MB XMS TwinX Low Latency DDR 400 - @ 188Mhz
