Default Error Message after a new build...

I just built up my system. I'm booting up and this is what it says

NVIDIA BOOT AGENT 242.0535
Copyright (C) 2001-2005 NVIDIA Corporation
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting NVIDIA Boot Agent.

What does this mean? and why can't I load up what's on my hard drive? If I connect my IDE cable to both the Hard Drive and CD drive, it only picks up one of them.

also, I have a mobo that has one IDE slot thing, and 2 SATA cable slots...My hard drive is ATA and supports the IDE cable only... DO I HAVE TO GET AN SATA HDD?

It sounds like both the hard drive and CD drive are set up wrong as mentioned above. Make sure one is set as Master, the other Slave.
