Error Message about Physical Memory??

hmm, could be a driver conflict, but could also mean faulty memory, thoguh the fact that it doesn't happen everytime makes me lead more to driver conflicts.

Maybe a recently installed program or driver?

Seems like a faulty memory stick. But as Kage said it could also be a driver conflict.

If there is just 1 memory stick then try with a stick from for example ur pc, if he has more than one then take one away and see if it starts working. If the problem still occurs then test the other stick too. Though this might take time since u said it only happens every now and then.

Yeah, I'd try what Daemon says.

You'll find mostly with computers, its usually the simplest thing that fixes it.

oh right, well thanks for the info kage and daemon! we'll take out his RAM and test mine on his :)

He can then feel what it's like to run his PC on 2GB :) not just a mere 256MB!

Thanks again!
