Hi all

I am a nerd in Computer.

May I ask what is the use of Hard Disk and the use of RAM?
Which one will the operating System be kept?

Also let say if I got a blank screen when loading the computer does it means that my hard disk is spoiled?

Erm, I thought that nerds wern't n00bs.

Anyway, the operating system (along with all your doccuments ect) are kept on the hard drive. RAM is just a tempory store that the operating system uses and is wiped when you swith off the computer.

And a blank screen can be caused by many diffrient things.
