Default encoding/converting.

right now i am using a program called
ConvertXtoDVD

now to convert 3 parts of band of brothers, it says 26 mins.

is there any way to speed up this process?
or is it mostly dependent on your CPU speed?

would making it "real time" in the task manager make it go a bit faster?
i am going to try it anyways, but just wandering if there are any ways to speed it up i am not thinking of.

You could give the process a higher priority in the task manager. That may speed it up a bit. The process is solely dependent on CPU speed.
