Default Emulators

Does anyone know any site are how to's in building a video game emulator??? Any help would be helpfull and I know if there is it will be on here.

You want to build an emulator to play .iso files and whatever? I don't think there will be a tutorial for this, you're best bet would be to study one that already exists in depth.

Does it have to be hardware? There are plenty of software video game emulators out there that run on the PC.

Just google <video game platform> emulator and you'll see a ton. Example: PS2 emulator.
