Not bad not bad....but is there any significant reason why I have to get that ram instead of the corsair pair that's cheaper?

lol because most games dont work on linux thats why. and zen is assuming that if hes using a computer right now that it has drives. thermal paste comes on that heatsink and psu and case combo's arent expensive

lol, wow, I forgot about all that other junk too.

I'm runnin' off a laptop right now. That's the main reason why I wanted to get a desktop. So it sounds like a package deal is the best for me as of right now.

not really..cd-roms are extremely cheap, dont need fans or floppy, and case and psu is like $50.00 for a good one. stick with one eastern said.

you do need the floppy since zen suggested that he is going sata

do you? why do u need the floppy? do they boot a different way or something?

windows xp/2k setup requires a floppy disk with the drivers for the sata controller during setup, if you dont have it, it cant see ur harddrives
