Hi guys I just bought an e8400 and was wondering if it is compatible with my mobo. If I need to update my BIOS, how do I do it? I do not have a USB pen or a floppy drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

You need to have BIOS 1212 or later. I would pick up a flash drive, they are cheap and that would be the easiest way to do it.

It depends on the motherboard, but back when I was using my Asus Commando there was a place in the Bios called EZ Update 2 that let you update via a flash drive. You should also refer to your motherboard manual just incase the P5B doesn't have that option.
You may have to get a 65NM CPU if your computer won't boot with the E8400 so you can update the Bios.
