What should I upgrade too since I want to be playing new upcoming games? If you could give me the most cost/power efficient buy for an Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 @ 3.00 Ghz I'd be very thankful.

Either 9800 gt or gtx 460. 9800 will play most games still but not crysis 1 on high or extreme. I have th gtx460 now and I can play every game I have thrown at it so far inc crysis

The e8400 is a mighty fine CPU, but if you want to stick to upgrade plans, get yourself an i5 based on Sandy Bridge, or any of AMD's Phenom II X4 or X6 CPUs above 2.8 GHz.
