e6600 or X2 5000+

Do you guys think I should get a Core 2 Duo e6600 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ ? And do you know which has the better benchmark scores?

I would say E6600 but because you already have a x2 5000+ I dont think its worth it to spend the money on a conroe system.

E6600, with that, you will get the same performance as a FX-62

How about an e6400? I'm guessing that's better than a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+.
