Default E6550 wil it work?

Hi i have a gigabyte ga-945p-s3 motherboard. And i am upgrading soon... I i am looking at the e6550 processor.. I know the motherboards fsb is 1066 and the processor.. Is 1333. So i ask one of mx friends that build pc's for a living and he said that that mb should run it with a bioz update... But i im not sure still.. Somebody else told me that i must just change the fsb to 1066 in my bios thanks in advance.

The manufacturer may have released a BIOS update for the board which enables FSB 1333 support (check on Gigabyte's website), don't get your hopes up though, as the 945 was never supposed to support 1333 FSB CPUs.
