How many Pin does a DVI-I have and a DVI-D have?

DVI-I (single link) - 18 pins + 5 analogue pins.
DVI-I (dual link) - 24 pins + 5 analogue pins.
DVI-D (single link) - 18 pins + 0 analogue pins.
DVI-D (dual link) - 24 pins + 0 analogue pins.

It's all to do with bandwidth.

(Single Link) 3.96 Gbit/s
(Dual Link) 7.92 Gbit/s

You'll find 6 extra connectors on a Dual Link plug that carry digital Blue, Red, Green, signals.
