DVI-I to VGA

ive recently aquired a powermac g4 with the ADC/dvi-i connectors. i have a sony vaio with dvi-d/vga connections and i was wondering if i could use an adapter without having to buy a converter box?

There are plenty of DVI to VGA adapters out there. You should be able to find one that will work for you. Pay special attention to the DVI side, they're not all the same.
