Default dvi and audio to HDMI

I know HDMI can carry 8 channels of audio, but are there any cables that will convert DVI and 7.1 audio to HDMI?

I'm working on selecting components for a home theater system, and I was probably gonna get a sound card with an optical audio out, so for the sake of discussion, I'll say yes.

hmm... well, I might be able to do that because If I have a tv tuner in the computer, then I won't need to have 5.1 audio from the tv because the only thing that would be going directly into the tv is the Xbox, and that is 2 channel audio. I just wanna have surround sound from the comp to the receiver so that when atsc is standard we can get good audio.

Rudster showed you a converter. You need a cable or an adapter. About 20 dollars.
