Default DVD writing

I've got some realplayer videos in my PC, and I want to burn the videos onto a DVD disk so I can play it on my dvd player. How do I do that? If I need a software to convert the file types, any software you would recommend? Thanks.

You need to download a program called WinAVI. This will convert basically any video format into any other video format, including DVD. I use it all the time.

DVDs usually have a folder called VIDEO_TS where .vob files are stored.

Whatever software you use for burning should have an option for burning as a DVD. Nero does a good job of this, I'd recommend it. If not, then you can just burn a DVD with two folders in it. One called AUDIO_TS and one called VIDEO_TS. Usually nothing goes in the AUDIO_TS folder, but it should be there just for proper DVD structure. There should be some .BUP, .IFO, and .VOB files to be put in the VIDEO_TS folder that you get from converting.

I use WinAVI, it works great and is very simple. It can also burn your converted files. Free trial here:

I PMed you a serial to get the version without a watermark.
