Unhappy Dvd-rw

I have a DVD-ReWriter which works great until I tried to some copy dvd's, it lets me copy some of them but not all. I use Pinnacle instant CD/DVD software and when I try to copy a dvd an error message keeps popping up. The dvd's I am trying to copy are on dvd-r disks. What shall I do?

e.g Track 1 can not be read using sector mode: Mode 1 ISO
