Exclamation DVD-ROM Drivers?!?

My DVD-ROM Drive isn't working. Its called a "generic dvd-rom scsi cdrom device". Where can i find the drivers? Cant find anything useful on google.

Gigabyte GA-7S748-L: AMD Sempron 2800+ 2.0ghz
Viking 512mb PC3200 DDR RAM
Maxtor Plus 80gb 7200rpm
Ati Radeon 9600xt 256mb

if you go into device manager you can get it to look for the driver for you.

I would delete the DVD ROM in the Device Manager and see if it will pick it up again with the new hardware install. If it's just a DVD ROM, you should be able to use the Windows driver for it.
