After installing a new hdd and reinstalling windows on an oldish pc I noiced that everytime I put a disc inside the dvdrom drive and go to my computer to look at it, the pc just crashes until I remove the cd. The dvdrom seems to have power going to it (as it opens and closes) but it just won't read the discs that I try. Is this due to a lack of drivers (I have never need to install drivers fro dvd drives on other computers) or is it just broken? Thanks in advance.
