Whats the easiest way to convert a DVD movie to AVI, MPEG or other formats?

Well, I need to know what programs I should get. And its perfectly legal to backup up your movies to your hard drive.

I've used DVD Shrink before. But that is mainly for making copies of DVD to DVD. Or was there an option on there that I've missed? Right now I am using DVD Fab to do that. I'll have to check out AnyDVD.

program i use to convert dvd to avi is winavi video converter

My all time favorite method: DVD Decrypter+Videora iPod Converter=High-quality MPEG4 videos.
