Default dvd recorder

when i put a blank disc in my dvd recorder and then press write or burn
it looks as if its recording then a few seconds later this message comes up POWER CALLIBRATION ERROR. then iot says burn failed can anyone help me. thanks

here they explain what this is and the usual causes for it. They recommend getting high quality media.

This can be a couple of things.

Check that you arent using a power splitter cable, linked to your DVD writer.

Dont use to many device's on one power line.

Can be cheap disks or one's that your particular drive doesn't like.
