DVD Problem on laptop

rite when i play a DVD on my laptop on any programms the sound keeps on jumping continuisly why is this ??
 
Is it just one DVD or multiple DVDs? If its just the one then give it a clean. The specs of the computer, OS, software your using etc would help aswell.
 
yes specs very usefull. id recomend Everest ultimate to find ur specs give us ur DVD Drive specs

Raffaz not to be a hater but ur sig is one line 2 long. is the image neccesary?
 
Are you using codecs? have you tried using a different player progam? what is your current player?

it happens to all the DVD's

and i have divx codec on it but the fing is that it worked all good until i fink it was november and from then it started to play up


oh and i tried it on VLC, Windows Media Player the Media Center Divx but same thing on all of them

It sounds to me like your media player or your codecs have become corrupt, try removing the codecs and reinstalling them, also had you just upgraded your WMP version when the problem started? as I had a few codec issues when I first upgraded to WMP11 and that was the codecs I had already wasn't compatible with the version 11 I had to wait for the update,
