You said you used the drive for a few days. Does that mean you installed the drive?

If so, check the cables. If intact, probably a defective drive.

Pete.i,

So this forum is for trained computer professionals who have no problems with computers. OK, I get it. I'm out of here, too.

You don't need to be a professional to use Google.

Instead of asking here where system restore is, type "Windows system restore" in Google, press enter and you'll find all the answers you need.

LOL yeah right. First a curt question. Then when a suggestion is made an "I don't know" reply. Then another suggestion and the answer? "I don't know where that is." What do you expect?? Not all of us are trained super computer professionals, but we do like a bit of encouragement when we make a suggestion to HELP a poster out. I believe you're actually a troll who just likes to make trouble. Your better off going somewhere else.

We might as well close the forum down if no one wants to help this fella.

Wired Earp, pete doesn't speak for us.
