Default DVD player

What is a good DVD playing program? Also, a good DVD ripping program?

WinDVD is really good. I'm using Nero Showtime right now and it does a good job with playback, but the controls suck. Other than that, Windows Media Player works great too. As for DVD rip, I don't know. I hardly ever rip DVDs, but DVD Copy works well.

That's what I said too. I mean, it looks good and all. Reminds me of PowerDVD, but when you want to fast forward or rewind a bit, it's very, very hard. Other than that, it's a great little player.

As a matter of fact, I'm using Nero Showtime right now to watch "The Descent". Well, and being on here too.
