Exclamation DVD drive- help!

Hey guys, my DVD drive has been acting really weird the past 3 weeks. It only reads certian discs!!

Example: It will read the MW2 disc. But it won't read the CoD4 disc! And today my bro bought The Sims 2 disc and once again it won't read it! Could the laser be dirty in my burner or something? It's weird how it won't read those discs. Help appreciated!

Have you checked to make sure its not being used by another program.
My cod2 disc when inserted wont read cuz Windows media player is trying to rip it. LOL
Thats the only thing i can think of at 5 to 1 in the morning.
I will think some more....
You can buy special lens cleaners if you think that is the problem.

Have you checked for any?
Do they actually do DVD drive drivers

I have been looking about your question in and out of Google and found this which might determine and elimante some theories you have as to the source of the problem
