My DVD drive on my computer works fine for everything except watching DVDs. When I have an audio CD in, it works and I can also burn disks. But when I put in any DVD, it acts as if it isn't there. When I go to My Computer it says there is no disk in the drive. Help?

What software do you have for watching dvd's? Have you tried updating the drivers and firmware?

That's odd as Vista Ultimate has built in DVD playback capabilities. You should be able to just open up Media player and watch the movie.

(As long as you do have a DVD drive as netbooger asked.)

haha nah its not a dumb question, but ive watched DVDs on it before... this just randomly happened
