Default DVD Burning

Just went to burn some dvdS WITH INSTANT DVD and its going really slow. They used to burn really quick. Any ideas how to increase the speed. I can;t find any options in instand cd/dvd!!!!

are the DVD's 16x max... if not they will only burn at the speed they are labeled. Like I have a few nice looking colorful DVD's but they only will burn at 8x max.

Or i dunno how that program works but if you dont pick a file thats a DVD format it will have to convert it first to make it a dvd which can take up to a half hour.

or in the worst case scenario your drive is failing
