Which DVD burner should I get?

Well that's what I was thinking, but it's only a six dollar difference and they are both rated very highly. The only real difference I can see is that the LITE-ON one has lightscribe support, but I don't know what the advantage is in having it.

Yeah don't bother spending an extra 6 dollars for lightscribe, you need to pay extra for the lightscribe CD's and I can guarantee you will never use it. I've got a lightscribe drive and disks with it too and i've never used them.

I like using lightscribe, it makes my discs look nicer in my collection, or as a gift to someone. But I agree, I do barely use it (about 5 times a year). I think it's a nice feature to have.

However, I would probably choose the Asus over Lite-On.
